I received an email with a file that has been shared, but I can not open it

    One of our users had this issue as well. She resolved it by using a different browser. Not sure that will help you, but throwing it out. I also suggested that she clear the cache, but not sure if she has tried that yet.

    I just tried Internet Explorer and it won't open with it either.

    Welcome to the Box Community!

    I usually see this message if the email address where you received the shared content is different from the email address associated with your Box account.

    Basically, you must have a Box account linked to the email address that was invited in the file or folder.
