Quota exceeded
AnsweredI had a problem because I was over my 50 GB quota. I removed many files, and after about an hour it showed I was down to 16GB BUT I still have 45 files not syncing because of 'Sync Failed: Box Quota Exceeded' . This is about 12 hours after I cleared out my Box folder.

Hi there,
Welcome to Box Community and glad to assist!
We highly recommend switching to Box Drive.
Why Switch?
- Current Experience: Box Drive is the latest desktop application from Box.
- Automatic Syncing: It eliminates the need for manual syncing, although you can still mark files for offline access if needed.
- Quick Resolution: The problem you're facing is likely to be resolved immediately upon installation.
Installation Benefits
By installing Box Drive using this link, Box Sync will be automatically uninstalled. Rest assured, any files that have not yet synced to Box will remain safe in your old Box Sync folder.

Hope it helps! Thank you for considering this change!

I do appreciate having a response, BUT the 'solution' seems like a no solution because I am being forced to switch to a different application that works in an entirely different way. I use my Box Sync on 4 devices. As I understand it, Box Sync's default is to have everything download on each device unless you state NOT to sync. But it appears the Box Drive only downloads to the devices if you force it to. If I have no internet access and I did not download to said device then I have no access to my files. Not good.
So can we discuss a way for Box Sync to actually correctly know the available data so it will sync correctly??
