Limited Characters in File Path?

Is there a limit to the length of a file path in Box? Been having problems at about 120 characters. Not able to open files :(

Welcome to the Box Community!

To clarify, are you using Box desktop application such as Box Drive or Box Sync to open your files?

While Box does not impose limit to the length of file path of the content you upload, operating systems where you installed Box applications into such as Windows is quite a different story as seen here:

Since Box Drive is installed on the Windows operating system, it is no longer subject to Box's unlimited file path length but rather becomes subject to Window's character path limit. Unfortunately this is a limitation of the Windows operating system and the resolution is to shorten the names in the file path, or you may also move these files/ folders a few folders up to shorten the path length.
