Failed to invite people
Someone already asked, but I have the same issue. I need to add my colleague to our enterprise account. He created a free Box account on his own (using his work email address) then deleted it under the understanding that I needed to create an account for him. Now, when I go to "add user" I get the ...
The email address you entered already has a Box account. Are you sure you want to invite this user to join your account as a managed user?
... message. When I click "INVITE" I get the following error:
There was an error inviting [email address] to join your enterprise. You can contact this user directly to log in to their account.
He tried to reestablish an account, but received an error informing him that "Email is already taken."
How can I add him to our team?

Hi Toshiro,
Welcome to the Box Community!
You are likely receiving the following error message because the user you are inviting has a deactivated Box account.
The user would need to reactivate his Box for you to be able to send this invitation to join your Box enterprise. The user would have to submit a ticket to support to help reactivate his Box, once his Box is active again, you should be able to send the invitation and once the user accepted this invitation (he would to accept invite popup message when logged in to his Box) he will be rolled in to your account.
The message should look something as described in this article: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044195233--Invite-Existing-Box-User-Message-When-Adding-User
