    I have this exact same problem on my PC. I did notice that if I do a search in Drive, the missing folders will appear but if I try to open them, I get the "Could not open folder" error message. Have you found a solution?

    Desireé, I logged out of my Box account (on my desktop) and that seemed to do the trick. We did some poking around with my permissions and privileges before that, but not sure that had anything to do with it. Logging out and back in seemed to do the trick.

    Very frustrating, it seems every few months the file most recently uploaded syncs on Box iPhone app but not on desktop folder on Mac, logging out and back in again works but takes time.

    I have a Mac, on the Mac app if you know the boss's login details, logging out and back in again works, or uninstalling / reinstalling the app, it will sync to the online account your boss has.
