    Hi Ryan,

    Welcome to the Box Community!

If you are having issue working on FTP to transfer your files from one Box org to another, I recommend performing "Transfer of folder ownership" instead, by doing so you will also retain metadata, tags, creation date etc.

Here's the article for reference: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044196273-Managing-Collaborators#transferfolderowner

This must be performed by the Owner of the folder and the owner simply need to promote the new owner and modify his Collaborator access to the folder as the "Owner" (owner must invite the new owner as a collaborator first if they have not been invited yet)

I'd also like to highlight a few reminders when transferring ownership of a folder:

    • Files owned by the user are inaccessible while they are being transferred. This also means that during the move, any shared content owned by the user is inaccessible to all collaborators so we recommend performing the transfer after business hours.
    • The process of transferring content can take some time to complete, depending on the amount of content you own. The more content you own, the longer it takes to complete. If after you start the process there is no error, but some of the content does not immediately display, please wait up to a day before contacting support so they can check the status for you.

Thanks for your participation in the forum and let me know if there is anything else that I may assist you with!

    Best,

    Hi Ryan,

In this case I hope third party migration tool can help you out with this migration requirement. You can have a check on Cloudfuze migration tool.
