    Did you follow the steps on this article on how to "transfer ownership" of a folder?: 

    The Owner simply need to add the new owner as a collaborator and then promote him and modify his Collaborator access to the folder as the "Owner" (owner must invite the new owner as a collaborator first if they have not been invited yet)

    I'd also like to highlight a few reminders when transferring ownership of a folder:

    • Files owned by the user are inaccessible while they are being transferred. This also means that during the move, any shared content owned by the user is inaccessible to all collaborators so we recommend performing the transfer after business hours.
    • The process of transferring content can take some time to complete, depending on the amount of content you own. The more content you own, the longer it takes to complete. If after you start the process there is no error, but some of the content does not immediately display, please wait up to a day before contacting support so they can check the status for you.
