Box Drive squeezes local drives
Box Drive squeezes local drives.
All accessible Box files appear to have been downloaded to your local drive.
Therefore, about 100GB of local drive is consumed.
Is it possible to delete Box file data only on the local drive?
I tried to log out, but I couldn't reduce the capacity.

Hi Masaya,
Welcome to the Box Community!
We do not recommend deleting items in your Box Drive as that would delete items that are stored in Box cloud.
Box Drive's cache size limit is set to 50% of your available local disk space with a maximum limit of 25GB and a minimum of 1GB. You can adjust this maximum limit following the steps provided in this article: Modifying Box Drive's maximum cache limit
The article also provide some tips on how to determine the actual local space that Box Drive takes up and managed Box Drive cache.
Thanks for participating in this forum and let us know how else we can help!

This has been an underlying problem for the number of uploads we do at our agency. We have upgraded workstations with larger Hard Drives to accommodate the process but the cache still builds up and will not delete itself automatically. Box Support has given us instructions to delete the cache manually via Terminal commands. Not a great solution.
