Box Folders not automatically syncing

    Hi Kory,

    Welcome to the Box Community!

If you have a content that appears in Box but is not appearing locally, the parent folder may be partially synced.

When a parent folder is partially synced (hovering over folder icon displays the This item is partially synced status), new subfolders or files created within this parent folder will not be marked for Sync automatically.

To fully sync a partially synced folder, you must unsync the partially synced folder, then sync it again.

You can find this information in this support article: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044196393-Marking-Content-for-Box-Sync

Thanks for posting and let me know if you have other questions!

    Best,

The parent folder is just the Box folder itself, which I don't believe has separate sync settings, does it?

Any response?  This issue is still occurring.  I had to go to the website and manually sync 2 folders.  They are within the Box Sync folder, not a subfolder.

    I have this same issue.

What does it take to get a response from box?

I have this same issue. When I create a new folder on my iPad in the Box app and put files in it, they show up on the web, but not on my Mac until I manually choose to sync them.
