Requesting Refund and Cancellation ASAP
Box makes it nearly impossible to cancel your account; I can't find anything that offers an easy path to cancellation on my account settings, rendering the free trial cancellation policy useless. I want my money back immediately and my account cancelled immediately. This site is full of language and options intended to trick potential users into paying the most money possible, e.g. the fine print of the free trial for a business account requires 3 seats, which are all charged separately; so if you think you're signing up for a $20 free trial, you're actually signing up for a $60 free trial. As someone who works at a subscription service, I find this to be egregious sales practice.

Hello. I found this post when I was researching the cancellation policy. I was tricked into signing up for a non-refundable one year commitment when I thought I was signing up for a monthly service. I agree with this poster that this is the most egregiously misleading sign-up process I've ever seen. I'm notifying all my social and professional networks about this situation and urging them not to do business with Box. When you search for the cancellation policy, the top returns are all posts from people who have been mislead going back years and still Box has not modified their sign up screens to make it more clear what you're actually signing up for. By comparison, I checked the sign up process for Dropbox and they clearly give you two options to choose from – monthly or yearly.
