    Hi Sonia,

    Welcome to the Box Community!

This would be something our Box Support team would like to investigate with you and may require specific account information.  I've gone ahead and created a ticket for you so that an agent can work directly with you on looking into this.

Someone from the team will be reaching out to you so kindly check your email for details and updates.

    Take care and stay safe!

When you want to deactivate an employee when offboarding them, how to you keep access to files they created?  I'd love to know if there is a better way than completely transferring all their files to myself.

I know I can transfer all files to me or another coworker, as I have admin access to do so.  However, one problem with that is we want to know WHO created the document.  If you transfer ownership it removes that information.  Everyone will think that I created all these documents instead of "Jane Doe".  It would be VERY helpful if Box created the created by feature in the history of a document.  Especially important with a CFO or CEO leaves.
