Trash can icon missing
I do not have the ability anymore to delete a file. The trash can icon is missing and the elipsis option does not have a trash option. How can I delete a file?

May I know your permission on the folder where this file is located (Co-owner, Editor, Previewer, Viewer, etc.)? You can find it under the Sharing tab on the right side of the content you are trying to delete.
You need at least an "Editor" access to be able see the trash or delete option in the webapp, otherwise it's likely that the owner reduced your permission to a more restrictive one thus the trash option is no longer available to you.
