    Hi Peter,

    Welcome to the Box Community!

This can happen if the Co-admin does not have the necessary permissions to be able to manage users and their contents.

Aside from the "Users and Groups" permission, to be able to add members editors to folders and/or groups, a Co-admin would also need the permissions under "Files and Folder".

For more details, please take a look a this article on granting co-admin permissions: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044194393-Granting-And-Modifying-Co-Admin-Permissions

Thanks for reaching out and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks France. Our co-admins already have Files and Folders permissions. Any other ideas?

    Hi Peter,

Could you have them try adding users on those folders again, make sure to click the "Save" button and then refresh their page and see if the changes were saved?

If the changes they made still do not apply to your users, please go ahead and submit a ticket to our support team so they can further investigate.

    Encountering the same issue:

    I am a Co-Admin.
There is an option to make me a group admin but:
    1. It is for a specific group
    2. It is forcefully removes the Co-Admin Role from my user

Is there something we can do in order to enhance Co-Admin for this use case?
