    Hi Zelda,

    Welcome to the Box Community!

    You will need to contact the owner of the file or the folder where this report is located and request that they grant you permission to "upload" a new version of this file. Please see this article to learn more on the different permissions to Box, if you are a 'Viewer' in the content, the owner can change it to a "Viewer Uploader" permission.

    Once you have the correct permission, you can do any of these methods to update the version history of he file:

    • use the Upload New Version button on the Web app
    • upload a file into a folder that has an existing file with the exact same name in it on the Box Web app.

    France  I currently have Viewer Uploader status on a folder, but still cannot upload a new version of a file. The article you reference does not contain information on which permissions can upload new versions of a file.  https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044196413-Understanding-Collaborator-Permission-Levels

    Can you help me figure out which permission I need to save new versions? Thanks
