How to reset External Collaborator 2FA setup
The external collaborator been logging in without 2FA and now is being prompted. He was never prompted to setup the Google authentication with is mobile device. Other than asking our primary Admin to disable 2FA, how can his be deleted or reset to activate the 2FA setup process?

I have the same issue for one of my clients, who has been logging in without 2FA and now is being prompted. The autentication process ask him a 6 digit code of second authentication factor but he doesn’t know where is being sending. Please your help giving him the option to reset the code destination.

Hi - I also am running into this issue where my collaborators have had to replace their phone and there are plenty of questions Box is asking to confirm identity. The only one they seem to care about is what was the name of a file uploaded/owned. My users access is minimal and cannot remember the exact names of files, which is why some will only need collaborative efforts, and your collaborative service. In some of these cases my hope is to license these users and in this case cannot because of this situation.
The answer from support "What we can do is to disable the feature if you can provide the correct answers or you can sign up using a different email for you to get back on to Box again".
My user provided 2 answers out of the 4 questions correctly. If Box is only concerned with one answer then you may want to zero in on that one. Additionally we cannot use other emails as we have a domain restriction in place.
I understand the concerns for 2FA and the reasons behind this but this is the incorrect answer for a customer that is representing a paid account that intent is to scale. If a better solution cannot be provided by Box, we may have to seek services elsewhere.
- A hopeful customer that Box can find a better solution
