Hi,

could you define roadmap for:

• OCR Support: Box does not currently perform OCR on its documents.
• Preview and indexing of Outlook Mails ans Attachments in Mail

  Welcome to the Box Community!

  As I check with our Team, we do not have a specific time-frame when will the OCR support will be available. Due to shifting priorities in this unprecedented time, this feature will be delayed. We are updating the status to “not planned” until we are confident we can deliver the feature. Previewing of outlook emails is not supported as well.

  I appreciate your feedback and would highly recommend that you send this directly to our Product Team through Box Pulse for possible consideration and implementation in the future. 

  Our product managers review these requests and take them into consideration for future product development.

  Hi France,

  thx for your reply.

  OCR is on thing, what about searching in document content.
  If i upload a word oder readable pdf file to box cloud - can box perform an indexing process so that the box search will found searchstrings and wird in the document contents?
