Huge delay in email notifications
For the past several weeks, the notification emails have been taking a ridiculous amount of time to arrive in my inbox. It started with a 3 hour delay, but today it took 7 hours for a notification email to arrive. Is there a reason this delay is happening and can I fix it?

Our users started to notice the same thing a few weeks ago. We opened a ticket with product support and response was:
"The email type that is sent out for @mentions is considered a legacy notification. We have received reports of these notification types being delayed and our team has found that these notifications tend to be around actions like @mentions, previews, uploads, downloads, and deletes. The issue stems from these notifications being sent from our legacy service. Additionally, Box does batches of emails for these types which could explain why you receive emails towards the end of the day."
We recently have had a couple of users say they aren't receiving notifications for @mentions at all.
It appears that the product team has confirmed the issue, they have plans to do something about it, but there is no commit date for a fix.
