    Welcome to the Box Community!

    I would suggest to directly communicate with the owner of the file to see if the file is still active on their end. You may also advised them to check the if the shared link is expired.

    Hello Aira,

    We are the owner of the file. The files were all uploaded directly to our Box account (pocdnu@gmail.com). But after the migration, they disappeared. Northwestern IT has done an extensive search and says the files are no where in their migration tool or the northwestern 'environment'. No one deleted the files, we even checked our trash can and there's nothing there. Is there a way you can look back into your archives because years and years of data have been lost.
