Box Drive on Mac - "Network Error"
I have seen this error on 2 different Macs using Box Drive on 2 separate Clients computers today (different Box tenants).
One user- Box Drive wasn't syncing changes down to the local computer. Their Box icon was greyed out, and restarting/force quit wasn't working. Box support recommended a reset by clearing out some ~/Library files, which also did not work.
The second user could not open anything from Box, even though it appeared running correctly. Could not copy to local desktop either, and then got the "network server" error.
Both of these Box Drive installs are up to date; 2.26.330 version. One user was on OS Big Sur, the other on Monterey.
The only solution (which is not a solution) is to uninstall/Reinstall Box Drive. The uninstall/reinstall took AGES and ages.
Something is broken with Mac/Box Drive, and I anticipate seeing this across more of our users- any notes??
