Switch organization
I’m currently working at University of Iowa and I’m going to start working at NYU in June.
I have been using BOX since I was NYU student and I’m continue using it during my at UIowa. I previously used NYU email for my login and switched to UIowa email later. I just deleted UIOWA email from the default email address of BOX and used my personal email instead.
I would like to add NYU email address and make it as the default email for BOX. There is no add email button. When I tried to add it to “Link Personal Email”, it said This email belongs to a different organization and cannot be added as an additional address in your Box account.
Could you please help?

I checked your profile, and I see it is linked to a Personal Free Account. The message that you received when you tried to add your NYU email int your personal Box happens if an email domain is already claimed by a Box organization, this can be due to they want all users of their domain to be managed by their Box organization so you cannot use that email to link into your Personal Box account.
If you need to use Box using this email address, you may need to reach out to NYU's internal help desk so they provision a new Box account for you that is managed by their organization.
