macOS 12.3.x, box.app and sandboxd process
Hello
We have some issues in the organization with our macOS clients that runs Box. Hard to find a solid common red thread but seems like it could be macOS 12.3.x related.
On all clients sandboxd stalls on login and the process sits at 100%. On this last client that I troubleshot (macBook Pro 16"), force killing 'sandboxd' makes the login process to continue and we get the 'Something went wrong and Box drive needs to quit.'. I can not start the app from Icon or get it back running, maybe there's a daemon I can restart though?
Reinstalling box.app in the logged in session makes box work, but when we reboot we get the same issue as above.
I did run the uninstall scripts for Box and still had issues with the 'sandboxd' process so not sure it's 100% box related or if the failing of box is an effect of something else failing. On the other hand, uninstallers aren't really that known for removing EVERYTHING.
And the thing is, there's really NOTHING in the Box logs about a crash or failure so hard to troubleshoot.
So the workaround now is, at reboot... Kill 'sandboxd' and reinstall Box. =/
Any one seen something similar?
