Co-authoring using Word app with simultaneous  users

Is it possible for more than one user to simultaneously edit the same document in the Word app using box tools?

  To answer your question, no, you cannot edit MS document using Box Tools.

  Box Tools is used to open the file you store in Box in your native desktop Microsoft applications, example MS Word, and desktop Microsoft apps do not support simultaneous editing.

  If you need this feature when editing a content, we recommend using "Office online", which is the web version and supports real-time Co-Authoring.
