Delete one of the files uploaded by mistake

    Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!

    If you do not see the "Delete" option in a Box folder you joined, it's likely you do not have the permission to do so.

    In order to delete a file in a collaborative folder, you must have a permission such as Editor, Co-owner or the Owner of the folder.     I would suggest reaching out to the folder owner and ask for assistance if they can delete the item you've mistakenly upload or request if they can change your permission to an Editor or Co-owner in order to perform this action.
