Larger files consistantly fail through desktop app yet upload perfectly through a broswer?
HI
A company I work for uses box to manage their workload and have been shared with multiple freelancers such as myself. Everything worked fine for the past 6 months, yet suddenly, if I upload files 300mb+ approx through the desktop app (MAC), it fails a few times and then gets the red (!) icon next to the file stating network issues. However, all these files upload perfectly through the web browser but only using the web browser massively slows down my workflow massively. I can easily deal with 200gb+ files downloading and uploading on a daily basis.
I have 1GB Up / 1GB down speeds and have no issues with anything else. I have tried removing box and redownloading, updating, manual resetting and following every forum post I can find that's similar.
If anyone knows of a way to fix this as I can't even find a way to contact box directly. Do they not allow customers to do so?
I have also tried uploading through my Macbook Pro on the desktop app and uploads are fine on that too. I just can't seem ti upload through my Imac's desktop app
Thanks
Niall

Hi Niall,
Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!
Network errors on file transfers on desktop apps such as Box Drive would typically occur due to intermittent network issues. These problems can occur anywhere in the network and may be outside your control.
Depending on the type of network issue, you may need to contact your administrator, IT department, or wireless/internet provider to resolve the issue. Once the network issue is resolved, retry the upload/download.
Thanks for reaching out and if you have any questions, please let us know and we will do our best to help!
Regards,
