    To confirm, are you the owner of the Shared folder or is it owned by someone else?

    If a file is missing on a shared folder that you own, you can check on your Box Trash to see if the file is there and may have been deleted by one of your collaborators and recover it from there. Box allows you sort and filter items within your Trash folder.

    You can filter content by Items I deleted and Items I own.

    • The Items I deleted filter will display all items deleted by you, regardless of who created or owns the item.
    • The Items I own filter will display all deleted items that you own, regardless of who deleted the item.

    Tip: Filtering by "Items I Own" is helpful when trying to track down content that may have been deleted by a collaborator in a folder you own.

    Otherwise, if this is a Shared folder owned by someone else, you would need to reach out to the owner on locating the lost content.

    This is a shared folder owned by my team member who left the company. So now it became difficult for me to locate it
