    If you wish to configure the location of the Box Drive folder on your computer, you may follow the steps in this article:

    I do want to point out that the steps in this article is designed to help user having issues around file-to-file linking via absolute paths as seen in many popular apps such as Excel, Word, InDesign, and so on. Relative file path links should work regardless of the Box Drive folder location. For more on absolute and relative paths, see the Related Links section at the end of this article.

    One of the important point to highlight in the article I shared is that customizing the Box Drive folder does not change where Box Drive stores its app data or cached files. With this article, you are only moving the location of the Box Drive mount point. The cache and app data locations remain unchanged, and there is currently no way to change this.

    Is it not working?

    This is my operating system:

    Edition    Windows 10 Enterprise
    Version    21H2
    Installed on    ‎4/‎17/‎2022
    OS build    19044.1645
    Experience    Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4170.0

    So why is the Box Sync not working and not loading?

    - later on, update - 

    I do not know what happened, but I've just reinstalled a fresh copy of windows and reinstalled the latest version of box sync for windows (v. 4.0.8088), and everything working now.
