Linking personal email
I had two separate box accounts - one with personal email and one with business email. I cancelled my personal email Box account then attempted to link my personal email to my business email Box account. I continue to get an error message that personal email cannot be linked to my business email Box account because a Box account already exists for my personal email?

It sounds like your personal email is still linked to your deactivated Personal Lite Box. Per our security policy we are unable to release email addresses for accounts who have been deactivated for less than 120 days.
If you have just recently canceled/ deactivated your personal Box, you would have to wait up until 120 days before you can use that email again, otherwise, you may request reactivation of the deactivated Box account so you can login and change the Primary email on Personal Box. You just need to link a personal email (ex. Gmail, Yahoo, Etc.) to this account and you will have the option to remove or unlink your new email and use it to your other account. Should you need help in reactivating your account, please go to Support.box.com click Support > Contact Support. You will then see a line that says "If you are unable to sign in, click here."; indicate in the form details of your login issue/ request to reactivate your account, and someone from the team will reach out to you.
