Transferred Ownership to Wrong Person
Hi! I by accidently transferred ownership of my data room to the wrong email address, which we no longer have access to. How can we revert the ownership change? I don't see a way to contact support by email or phone so hopefully this is the right forum.

Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!
The process of transferring ownership of a folder is irreversible to Box once it's been taken, only the person that now owns the folder can transfer the ownership to another account. If the folder was transferred to a personal account with an email that you no longer have access to, you will need to find a way to get access to that email address so you can login to Box and transfer the ownership to the rightful user.

Hi France - thank you very much for the quick response! Unfortunately we don't have access to the email address and it is impossible to regain access. I have to believe that a) there is someone from Box that can help reverse the ownership change or b) we can delete the folder permanently. Please advise.
