    Same here with error 404.

Box has probably stopped webdav without notice, don't care about customers, too busy feed forcing new shiny useless glorified notes.

GCP + tiny VM + my server way less expensive than box services anyway.

    Ciao, arrivederci.

    Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!

Please be advised that Box no longer supports WebDAV as of October, 2019. If you have been using WebDAV you can continue to use it, however, we are no longer resolving any issues that may arise as a result.

You can find the announcement in this article: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043696414-WebDAV-with-Box

    Best Regards,

So WebDav won't work in the foreseable future?

We are aware the WebDAV is no longer supported, and we would need to resolve issues that arise on our end. But it seems WebDAV was stopped altogether. Unfortunately, we can't switch from WebDAV right now. Are you suggesting you completely pulled the plug on WebDAV?

    Dear Box team,

please clarify whether WebDAV was stopped altogether.

I have the same problem. Webdav ran until August 15th. I had read that it was no longer supported, but that it continued to be usable. If I had been told that the service would no longer be usable I would have found an alternative. At least you could make it reusable for a certain amount of time now, so we can re-access the webdav folder and do the operations to move it.
The folder is available on box.com, but the problem is that I used it with Zotero, and I can't move Zotero files without logging back in as webdav.

Same problem; server has been returning "502 Bad Gateway" for me since 2022-09-11.

    The following are distinctly different:

    • A. Keep a service usable, but without providing support for issues on the user end
    • B. Shut down the service entirely

It appears that someone at Box has recently done B with no prior warning, while the commitment to A was still active.  Please either extend WebDAV capability or provide an alternative.  Thank you.

FYI to others in the same predicament, Rclone (https://rclone.org/) seems to work well as an alternative.
