    Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!

    We have previously seen this error in the past if too many collaborators are being invited at a time, and too many invites being made within a certain timeframe. This is expected behavior, because of the measures Box has taken to protect our service. 

    In order to resolve your situation, we recommend that you decrease the amount of collaborators invited at a time and limit the number of invites sent per day.

    Hi France,

    Interesting.  On the day I posted to the forum, I was getting this error with just one collaborator.  This error was replicated across multiple machines.  Today, it works again sharing with just a single collaborator.  That must be the timeframe feature.

    For posterity (and to be indexed by search engines), what is the maximum number of collaborators per request and how many invites are too many invites or what duration?  You can appreciate when we have a large distribution to go wide that this may be unavoidable.  Also, may the error message be refined to be more informative?
