    Hi Annemarie,

Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!

It sounds like your collaborator has a Personal Lite account and they are allowed of up to 250mb maximum file size upload as stated in this article: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043697314-Understand-the-Maximum-File-Size-You-Can-Upload-to-Box

The maximum file size limit for uploads to Box varies depending on your account type:

    • Free personal: 250 MB
    • Starter: 2 GB
    • Business: 5 GB
    • Business Plus: 15 GB
    • Enterprise (and Digital Suites ): 50 GB
    • Enterprise Plus: 150 GB

This file size will apply to folder the user owns, but if they are collaborating on a folder owned by someone with an Enterprise account like yours, they should be able to upload up to 50GB in size in your folder. Do they encounter any issue when uploading into a folder you own? Do you mind providing more details?

I look forward to hear from you!

    Regards,

Folder they are collaborating with me on is the one we are having issued with. When going to upload the following message appears: Some uploads fail. This file exceeds your plan's upload limit. Upgrade now to store large files. (Upgrade button)

    Hi Annemarie,

This might be a user error, have you confirmed with the collaborator if they are actually uploading inside the Folder that you own, because they might be uploading somewhere else? Could you ask for a screenshot of their browser while reproducing the error so we can check?

    Best,

I thought that may be the case as well and sent them an step by step to upload into our folder. I haven't gotten a response as soon as I do if the issue is still persisting I will respond back
