Synced files deleted
Hello,
I uninstalled Box Drive because it was not syncing locally and tried to install Box Sync. This only synced two of my directories (so it didn't work), so I uninstalled it and re-installed Box Drive. However, the two directories than synced with Box Sync are now GONE. They are not in my trash online and they are not on my local machine, in the trash or anywhere else. Where did they go?

Update: it looks like this is something built into Box Sync?? I read that there is a 14-day grace period whereby files can be restored. Please please please reach out to me via email to resolve this. One of the folders that was deleted contained all of my dissertation data!!! Cloud-based services are supposed to protect us from these types of problems.
