    To confirm, the phone number that you removed, is that for your 2FA?

    I asked because there are some organization that can require their collaborators to set-up 2FA in Box before accessing their content as another layer of security. This may be the case for you if you've lost access to the that folder only after removing your phone number. This article explains this behavior: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044195853-Configuring-Two-Step-Login-Verification 

    Try configuring your 2FA again, and see if that helps you regain access to the content, if not, you may need to reach out to the owner of the shared folder or the person who shared it to you to request access.
