I guess it has to do with our shared link settings. Support says "Shared Link settings must be set to "People with this link" in order to allow BoxSign to work.". That doesn't really explain why it...

Update: I was able to initiate a signing request, add an external recipient, and they were able to sign successfully. This would seem to contradict the aforementioned shared link setting limitation...
