We are excited to announce the rollout of the following enhancements designed to continue improving your Box AI user experience on Box Notes:
Reset chat: When querying with Box AI for Notes using the AI button in the header, users will be able to reset their chat with Box AI so that new queries are not impacted by previous responses, enabling users to ask multiple, unrelated questions all within one particular document.
Follow-up questions: Users can now “continue the conversation” and ask follow-up questions. This allows users to drill down and uncover insights with Box AI at a level of detail a single prompt might not have provided before.
Formatting in Box AI queries: When using the Box AI for Notes composer to draft content, users will also now be able to receive responses in a specific format such as a table, block quote, or list. Use this feature to get organized and structured responses that are easy to read and understand.
Copy and paste formatting: Whether using Box AI for Notes composer or Q&A functionality, users will now have the added ability to copy and paste formatted answers into the Note, making it easier and faster to work with Box AI to create and extract insights from their content.

Box Notes will soon support rich embeds for external links. Users will be given the option to either display as URL or display as preview for supported links, including sites such as Figma, Google Docs, Loom, and more. By removing the need to open links in separate web browsers and tabs, we're making it easier for teams to collaborate and stay on the same page.

Box Notes is important to how you collaborate with teams and stakeholders, share ideas, and organize information, and we are constantly looking for ways to improve the Notes experience.
Box AI Q&A functionality will soon be available in Notes via the new AI button in the header. Similar to using the Box AI button in the header for Box AI for Documents and Box AI for Hubs, you can now ask Box AI questions about a Note and get insights instantly. This new Box AI Q&A functionality will allow Box AI to ingest all the content that is in your Note, and summarize key takeaways, identify next steps, or even make suggestions to your Note as a whole.

As a fast follow to all-new Box Notes, we will be launching an emoji picker that makes it possible to express yourself in a new way. Simply scroll through the various emojis or search by name or category — then add an emoji to your Note with a single click. Why use emojis? Emojis to send a clear message using a relatable image and provide insight into the type and strength of emotion you are expressing. (Plus they are fun!)
