Hello, I need to promote a user from editor to owner of an account regarding account ownership - the original owner currently cannot accomplish this task. 

Would we be able to open a support ticket on this to continue communication in your Support System? Thank you

    Welcome to Box Community and glad to help!

    Currently, it's only the Owner who could transfer the folder ownership. Can you tell us why can't the owner transfer the folder ownership?

    The owner is no longer with the organization the account is associated with.
