I want to find an old version of a file, but there is no version history! How can I retrieve an old version!!!

I cannot find the original version of a file that may have been written over.  There is no version history.

  It shows that you don't own any file or folder in your Box account.

  You must be accessing your shared file's version history and if you're unable to access prior version(s). Kindly reach out to the file owner.

  Also, please note that your ability to access a file's prior version(s) will vary according to the owner's Account Type: 

  • Personal Free - 1 Version
  • Personal Pro - 10 Versions
  • Starter - 25 Versions
  • Business/Business Plus - 50 Versions
  • Enterprise - 100 Versions
