"There are open files that are preventing Box Drive from starting."

I am now getting this error message and unable to access my files on my desktop running Windows 11 and the latest version of Box drive. 

Amazingly, I can't find any mention of this message anywhere, even when I search Google. 

Any help would be much appreciated.

  Can you uninstall Box Drive following the steps in this in this article then reinstall the app again?

  Let us know how it goes and if you are still getting the same error message after.
