    Box Drive version 2.3 is actually an old version of Box and version 2.29 is the latest version and what we recommend that you install as it has bug fixes from old versions.

    France, thank you for your reply.

    I am not sure how can a higher number (v 2.3) would mean that it is an older version then a lower number (v 2.29.112), however the reason for my research, is to find a way to change the Box Windows 10 local folder location (C:\Users\vladn\Box)

    My current version is 2.29.112

    To confirm, are you looking to change the location where Box Drive stores its app data or cached files? If yes, unfortunately this is currently not supported. 

    You may have seen this article that discussed on how to configure Box Drive's location. This article covers the way on how to configure Box drive's mount location to help on issues around file-to-file linking via absolute paths as seen in many popular apps such as Excel, Word, InDesign, and so on. However,  customizing the Box Drive folder does not change where Box Drive stores its app data or cached files. 

    This idea has been shared to our Product team via Box Pulse and is currently under consideration. If you'd like to support this suggestion you can upvote or provide your direct feedback on it here.

    France to be honest, I am not sure if it is app data or cached files...

    Currently the downloaded files are being stored on C:\Users\vladn\Box\Pictures and my C drive is small and it is only used for the OS. I store all of my files on the D:\ drive.

    Other cloud storage services, allow us to change the storage location. However I could not find it within the Box application.
