    Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!

    Tracking file activity is indeed available only on the files of Starter, Business, Business Plus, and Enterprise accounts, and only are visible if you're an owner, co-owner, or editor of the file.

    When you upgrade your account to at least a Starter plan, you should be able to access this feature. Tracking file activity is a feature that is different from Box Reports which allows Box Admin a more in-depth monitoring of user activity and is only available to those with Business and higher plans
