Control the download option for pdfs in box

Is there an option where i can control the download option for my pdfs? i want my embedded pdfs not to have a download option, while the links setup for downloading the same pdf file will enable downloads. right now, if i set the pdf file to 'view only', the links setup for downloading prevents everyone form downloading the file. but if i set the file to 'view&download', the embedded files will include the download option. what can i do to rectify this?

  Hi NLP, I'm not sure I understand your question.

  What do you mean by embedded PDF's? are you using the box ui-elements? like preview?

  If that is the case you downscope the token to disable downloads.
