    As of this writing, this feature that you've asked about is a current limitation on Box. For the meantime, you may submit this as a feature request.

    With that you may upvote here and include your feedback and suggestion. Our product team reviews all submissions and will consider whether to include feedback in their product roadmap.

    Being able to generate a QR code to link to a BOX folder would make BOX much more user friendly.  I could post a QR code on the door to an equipment locker that would allow employees to easily sign out equipment in the BOX folder when they go to the equipment locker.   Posting a path to the BOX sign out folder is not user friendly and would less likely be used.    When will BOX enable this capability?
