Box File Remain in Locked State
完了We use the Enhanced Auto-Lock feature (see https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360061782454-Enabling-Enhanced-Lock-Unlock-on-Box-Drive). When a user opens a file, it is automatically locked, which is great.
What is supposed to happen is when a user closes the file, it is automatically unlocked. And normally that does happen.
However, quite a few times when a user closes a file, it remains locked indefinitely. And this causes confusion.
Does anyone know what causes this quirk and how to correct it?

Hi, Matthew. I have no updates on my end. I think one thing that might cause this is many users have a tendency to not save/close files they are working on, and sometimes their PCs will reboot in this state. Interestingly, ANYONE can unlock a file, so that is what our users wind up doing in order to avoid opening a file in read-only mode. Best practice is for them to contact the last person who was working on that file - just in case there might be a possibility of lost work.
