Size difference between folder and files within folder

Hi,

I have a question with respect to file sizes. Let's say I have a folder on BOX named as "ABC". This folder contains multiple files and folders (with more files within them). I have a folder_and_file_tree_run CSV file with a list of all files and folders in my BOX drive with their sizes. What is puzzling is that the size of the ABC folder comes to say 10 GB, but the size of all files within that folder (and sub folders) comes to say 5 GB. What is the reason for the difference and what should I consider to be the actual size ?
