Missing folder was not deleted and was re-invited to it but I'm still not seeing it

I folder I used and edited two days ago is now not accessible to me. The owner sent me an invitation again, but when clicking on the invitation link the folder does not come up in box. According to another, user the folder is still the and I have been invited to collaborate but I cannot find it anywhere.
