To access Content Insights data through an API call, you would typically need to use an API provided by the platform or service that offers Content Insights. The availability of such APIs depends on the specific platform you are using to host and manage your content. I don't have access to real-time information about specific platforms or services that offer Content Insights, but I can provide a general approach to finding and using such APIs:

Check Documentation: Start by checking the official documentation or developer resources provided by the platform or service where you are using Content Insights. Look for any APIs or SDKs that they may offer to access content-related data and analytics.

Explore Available Endpoints: Once you've identified the API, explore the available endpoints and methods. You'll typically find endpoints for retrieving data like previews, people, downloads, and activities.

Authentication: Most APIs require authentication to access data. You may need to generate API keys, OAuth tokens, or use other authentication methods to make API calls securely.

Make API Requests: Use your preferred programming language or API client to make requests to the API endpoints. You can specify parameters like the time period for data retrieval in your API requests.

Handle Responses: Parse and handle the responses from the API in your application. The data returned by the API should include the information you need, such as the number of previews, people, downloads, or activity details.

Error Handling and Rate Limits: Be sure to implement error handling for API requests and respect any rate limits or usage policies specified by the API provider. smart square wellstar login

Testing: Before integrating the API into your application, it's a good practice to test the API calls using tools like Postman or cURL to ensure you are getting the expected data.

Integration: Once you've successfully retrieved data through API calls, you can integrate it into your application or reporting system as needed.

Please note that the specific API endpoints and methods, as well as the authentication process, can vary widely depending on the platform or service you are using. If you have a specific platform or service in mind, I would recommend referring to their documentation or developer support resources for detailed information on accessing Content Insights data through API calls.

I am talking specifically about Box APIs that as a developer I use for my web platforms. In the Box web app they give access to file statistics called Content Insights, which has a pretty extensive view of how the data is accessed. It would be helpful to have an API that allows me to gain access to these statistics without having to go through the web app and I'm curious if there is an option for this (it does not appear so based on current documentation which is disappointing).

For example, we would like to compile access statistics across a large number of files to see how many users downloaded different files. If we have 100s of files to go through, going through the web app is impossible to access these stats, but an API request would allow us to do it programmatically.

    Hello
    Is this question resolved?
I am experiencing the same problem. Does anyone have any information?
I have asked support for a solution, but in the process they told me to ask the community, so I would like to ask here as well.
