Ready-sign Link permission issue

Hello. We have an Enterprise+ plan. I am attempting to create a ready-sign link to a PDF to send out to multiple people to sign. When I test the link, I get the following permission issue...

The sender has set an invalid configuration for this link. Ask the owner of this link to review the permission settings, or get in touch with Box Support.

So, here I am. I've already asked our IT department to check our settings and as far as they are concerned, everything is setup properly. We do indeed already successfully use Box Sign to send documents out for signature by entering email addresses. Now my goal is to start using Ready-sign links but can't figure out why I'm getting this error or how to 'set a valid configuration' for my link. Any help is most appreciated.
