Box embedded but dynamically reference existing file structure

Is there a way to use the box embedded VF feature on a page layout and be able to dynamically have it point to an existing file structure?

  For more clarification - instead of the box code for VF referencing the "object" in Salesforce, can it reference a field  omn an object instead?
