    Welcome to Box Community and glad to assist! 

    Folder permission follows waterfall permission. Which mean, if you grant a user access to the folder all nested subfolders will have the exact permission.

    I understand the waterfall permissions. However isn't there a way of showing the parent tree structure that a folder is contained in.

    ie   If I had the following folder structure    Root > Folder Level 1 > Sub Folder level 2   

    If I give access to the Sub Folder Level 2. I should also be able to see that folder is sitting in Folder Level 1 which is contained in Root. I would like to see the entire parent tree. Is that a possibility?
