    We apologize for the inconvenience with accessing excel files, it appears there have been other users who are experiencing the same issue that everyone here reported. 

    We've reached out to Microsoft and the issue should now be resolved. Please try accessing/ opening your excel files again and if you are still having issue, please go ahead and submit a ticket on this page and a support representative will reach out to you to further investigate and help troubleshoot the issue.

    Someone in my office is having the same issue. He is able to download and view files in a folder he was invited to have access to, but opening them in Box is giving similar error codes. Here are 2: Error Id: b7aae47c-81f1-46dd-84e4-4f379aa8a678, 2021-11-02 16:00:19Z AND Error Id: 2f8c8c10-f4b0-4bb2-b3fd-0ec6842d2cd9, 2021-11-02 15:39:53Z    He is also trying to open excel files.

    I had this issue but realized what was going on. I didn't login to box.com. Once you login you should be able to open your respective excel file. Worth giving it a shot as that has worked for me.

    We are all logged into Box.  Trying to open files via excel online as we all have to work in the files together.  Everyone is getting the same error message across several files.

    Was told by a Box support agent that it is an issue with Microsoft, and specifically Excel. If anyone is still having the issue, you should be able to download the files you need and view/edit them normally.
